Input reactors
Three phase reactors for frequency converters are designed for 3x400V/230V, 50Hz power system. Reactors are manufactured with IP00 protection degree, insulation class „F“ for ambient temperature of 40°C. Relevant standard is EN 61 558-2-20. Wide current range covers reactors from 6 to 630 A.
Input reactors are connected in front of frequency converters. AC current of nominal frequency of power system is passing through these reactors. They limit higher harmonics of the converter, improve protection against short-time overvoltage as well as supply net impedance and power factor. Also they help to limit current peaks and voltage distortion.
